Wall Connector questions
Do I need an electrical panel upgrade?
Not always. Full 48 A output needs a 60 A circuit, and your panel needs room for it. Wall Connector can also be set to a lower amperage. We check your panel during the consultation and explain the options.
Will Wall Connector work with my car?
Wall Connector uses the NACS connector found on Tesla vehicles and a growing number of other EVs. If your vehicle has a different charge port, ask us about the right option.
Can it be installed outside?
Yes. Wall Connector is designed for indoor or outdoor installation, and its 24-foot cable reaches a vehicle in a garage or on a driveway.
How fast will my car charge?
Up to 11.5 kW, which adds up to 44 miles of range per hour depending on your vehicle. Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive, Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive and Model Y All-Wheel Drive charge at up to 32 A (7.7 kW), about 30 miles of range per hour.
What warranty comes with Wall Connector?
Wall Connector carries a 4-year Tesla warranty for residential use. GoGreen Builders also provides a workmanship warranty on our installation.
