Are you licensed to build an ADU in California?
Yes. An ADU is a general building project, and we hold California licence #1064369 with a B (General Building) classification, alongside C-39 roofing and C-46 solar. We carry a contractor bond, workers compensation and $1,000,000 general liability. The licence is verifiable through the CSLB.
Do you handle the permits and plans?
Yes. Design, engineering, plan check and permitting are part of the scope we quote. We will tell you at the estimate stage which approvals your specific lot needs, because that varies by jurisdiction and by whether the unit is attached, detached or a garage conversion.

What warranty comes with the work?
We provide an extended workmanship warranty on what we build. Products and appliances carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we pass through to you in writing. You see both sets of terms before you commit, not after.
Can I finance an ADU?
There are five routes: paying cash, a loan including 0% interest options, PACE assessed on your property value, and for solar specifically a lease or a power purchase agreement. Which one fits depends on the project and your circumstances. Our financing page sets them out in full.
